An NFL star WR would be on the trade market

According to a new report published by ESPN.com, one of the major NFL receivers would be on the market and could be purchased at the right price.

Adam Schefter, an ESPN NFL insider, reports that the Denver Broncos are listening to commercial offers from Broad Star receiver Demaryius Thomas.

Thomas, five-time Pro Bowler, has 33 catches for 372 yards and 3 touchdowns this season. It is clear that he is still able to produce at a high level, but with him at age 30, the Broncos might be ready to move on.

From ESPN.com:

The Denver Broncos have listened to star receiver Thomas Demaryius's claims, league sources told ESPN.

Some teams turned to Denver to see if the Broncos would be willing to part with the five-time Pro-Bowler, which was a first-round pick in 2010, and Denver has yet to postpone these advances, according to sources.

Schefter had more details:

Thomas, however, seems to be different. Thomas is 30, at the end of his best career, and Denver knows he has a young catcher at Courtland Sutton who is ready for more play time.

That does not mean that the Broncos will deal with Thomas, but they have listened to the teams and will continue to listen to them before the deadline of October 30 for the transaction.

The Broncos are gone today after beating Arizona, 45-10, on Thursday night.

Stay tuned.
