According to an Oregon police press release, an expulsion officer from the US Customs and Immigration Agency (ICE) was arrested several times for sodomy.

Blake V. Northway, 55, was arrested on Thursday after a joint investigation between the state police and the ICE's Office of Professional Liability. He has been charged with 10 charges of sodomy and incest, according to Jackson County Sheriff's Office online documents. According to these online records, Northway is being held on a $ 1 million bail at Jackson County Jail.

Northway's charges are unrelated to his position at ICE, the state police said. The release of the state police did not give any details about the alleged offenses.

Northway has been assigned to the ICE office in Medford, southern Oregon.

Tanya Roman, spokeswoman for the ICE, said in the police press release that the agency held "its officers to the highest standards of professional conduct and does not tolerate those who violate the law" .

"ICE will continue to cooperate until this case is resolved," Roman said.

Northway was relieved of any ICE authority and put on leave pending the results of the criminal investigation, state police said.

It is not clear if Northway got a lawyer. CNN's efforts to reach Northway have failed.
