Angela Simmons paid tribute to his ex-fiancée, Sutton Tennyson, who was shot in Atlanta on Saturday, November 3rd.
Sharing a series of photos and a video on Instagram on Sunday, November 4 from Tennyson with their son, Sutton Joseph, 2, Grow Hip Hop star, who is the daughter of Run D.M.C.'s Rev. Run, wrote, "Thank you for leaving my best gift. I have pain. I'm numb. Thank you for the spill of love everyone. I can not believe I even say Rest In Peace Sutton. I promise to retain SJ in all the ways I promise.
The 31-year-old also posted a ripping clip of her son's laugh as he watched a video of his father throwing him in the air. "Reflective. He never stops replaying at RIP Sutton. "
Simmons and Tennyson announced their commitment in April 2016, welcoming their son five months later. She revealed in an Instagram post in December 2017 that they had separated.
Atlanta police said We weekly that officers responded to a gun call in a house in southwestern Atlanta shortly before 5 pm Saturday and found Tennyson, 37, lying dead with multiple gunshot wounds in an open garage.
"The preliminary information indicates that the victim was talking in the alley with another man, when the conversation intensified and the suspect shot the victim several times," Officer Jarius Daugherty told We. "The suspect left the scene in a car." The homicide unit of the Atlanta Police Department is investigating the death of it.
