Angry passenger sets fire to luggage after flight delay in Pakistan

This is the weird moment where an angry passenger fires his luggage after canceling his flight.

The man had apparently become furious when his plane, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), ran aground due to bad weather, MailOnline reported.

The passenger was filmed lighting his clothes in the middle of the airport lounge of Islamabad before facing security.

The man would have lost his temper when his 7-hour flight to Gilgit would have been delayed for the first time Thursday for technical reasons, then canceled due to bad weather.

He had been recorded trying to use a garment on fire to ignite the rest of his luggage.

The smoke started to escape from his business and when guards approached with fire extinguishers, he tried to evict them.

He was then confronted with security and he seemed to give up his hands to be stopped.

The flames were extinguished by firefighters of the Civil Aviation Authority before their spread.

A spokesman for the PIA told Dawn that the passengers had been transferred to hotels to await a new flight, scheduled for them Friday.

"No airline can risk flying a passenger plane in bad weather," said the spokesman.

"PIA has chosen to forgive and forget about the incident that occurred at the Islamabad International Airport on November 15."
