Anthony Davis of the Pelicans: Blocks five shots in the victory of Tuesday

Davis had 34 points (11-21 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 10-15 FT), 13 rebounds, five blocks, two assists and a 40-minute flight in the 116-109 win over the Clippers.

Davis was regaled Tuesday with 34 points to his credit with 13 rebounds and five blocked shots. The Pelicans made a perfect start with three straight wins, thanks in large part to Davis' incredible game. Jrue Holiday has not started yet, leaving Davis and, to a lesser extent, Nikola Mirotic, the bulk of heavy work. The pelicans will now rest a few nights before a back-to-back match against the Nets and the Jazz. Look for Davis to continue his massive production against a young Nets team before a much tougher exit against Rudy Gobert.
