LONDON (Reuters) – British antiterrorist police are investigating two alleged improvised explosive devices that were discovered Wednesday in an unoccupied apartment in northwestern London.
The apartment block in Harlesden was evacuated during the operation to secure the devices and residents have since been allowed to return, the London Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
The devices are currently undergoing forensic examination and the counterterrorism service of the force has launched an investigation.
Chief Superintendent Simon Rose invited the public to share any information.
