Pittsburgh Steelers star Antonio Brown gave reporters plenty to tell during the four weeks of the season. He said Friday that he liked watching the media "trying to create adversity" in Pittsburgh.
In less than a month, Brown was involved in a marginal dispute with his offensive coordinator earlier this season, reinforced with former Steelers employees on Twitter, and even skipped meetings after a loss to the chiefs. After a first week's tie with the Browns, Brown threatened a reporter on Twitter and later apologized.
The Steelers, meanwhile, are 1-2-1 to start the season and have not yet yielded to the Le'Veon Bell defense, which is expected to return to the team in the 7th week, according to ESPN.
Before the Steelers' home game against the Falcons on Sunday, Brown said he and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger often wrote about the team's media coverage.
Via ESPN:
"Ben and I are laughing about you, creating a drama, writing about us. Try to create adversity and distractions. In fact, we send SMS about it, laughing, we communicate a lot by SMS about you guys. "
Brown compared his connection with Roethlisberger to Wi-Fi.
"It's like Wi-Fi, you know. Sometimes the connection is bad. Sometimes the connection is excellent. But it's still connected.
Brown has not yet posted a 100-yard match this season. He participated in nine receptions in each of his first two games, but his goals went from 17 to the ninth week, at only 17 sessions. Brown touched the touchdown in three of the Steelers' four games.
