Antonio Brown is a huge relief for the Steelers

Antonio Brown cleared the air Thursday, pointing out that he had lost his cool on Twitter, had no intention of demanding an exchange and was simply frustrated by the loss this weekend against the Buccaneers.

Brown left the locker room Sunday without speaking to the media and was a no-show for the meetings on Monday. He responded to a tweet from a former Steelers employee, suggesting that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had made his career, writing that Pittsburgh would have to trade him to find out.

But Brown set the record on Thursday by telling reporters, "Obviously, I do not want to be traded.

"I am involved in this program, this organization. I am fully here. I will work every day. I'm talking about my things. My company wins. "

Brown said he told Steelers' coach, Mike Tomlin, that he had a personal problem Monday, but that he was still disciplined. It's uncertain what the punishment was.

"I signed up to win," Brown said. "I work very hard, I put 20 hours a day of my life and my body, away from my family, to win, and when we do not, yes, I get upset because I take it seriously."

In two games, Brown has 18 assists for 160 yards and one touchdown. But his figures have nothing to do with his disappointment.

"Nobody cares about your stats if you do not win," Brown said.

Brown's presence in practice and attitude is appreciated by Pittsburgh, who is already dealing with a certain Le'Veon Bell.
