What happens when you have a tattoo related to an ex? You cover it – and the stars too.

The flash romance of Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson included an ink that reminded them of others, but since their split in October, it seems like they are closing this chapter of their lives with updated designs.

On Friday, fans quickly pointed out that Davidson's small tattoo on the finger's finger was now covered with a heart, as shown by a close-up of her hand that she posted on Instagram for announce his next music "Thank you, next" video.

It was only a matter of time before Grande did not cover the ink in a professional manner. During her pre-recorded performance in NBC's "A Very Halloween" musical television show, she used a Band-Aid to hide her "Pete" tattoo.

Similarly, the Davidson "Dangerous Woman" rabbit tattoo that was right behind his ear was also covered with a black heart.

This is not the first tattoo dedicated to Davidson that Grande has covered since the breakup.

In late October, fans noticed that the "Reborn" ink of the singer that covered the side of her left hand was covered with a fern.
