Ariana Grande remembers Mac Miller as "the sweetest soul"

LOS ANGELES – Ariana Grande released Friday a tribute to her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller a week after the death of the hip hop star, saying that she is sorry for not being able to save "the sweetest soul" who was her "dearest friend" for so long . Great posted a video of Miller laughing on his Instagram page on Friday. She also shared her first words when she died.

She wrote, "I loved the day I met you when I was nineteen and I will always do it. I can not believe you're not here anymore, "he continues. so sad that I do not know what to do, you were my dearest friend for so long.

Paramedics found Miller, 26, unresponsive at his home in Los Angeles on Sept. 7 and declared him dead soon after. An autopsy was performed, but no cause was announced.

He has openly talked about his depression and addiction issues in his music.

Miller and the 25-year-old, who is now engaged to the star of "Saturday Night Live," Pete Davidson, were in a two-year relationship that ended earlier this year. Last weekend, she published a black and white photo of Miller on her Instagram account, but she made no statements.

She ends Friday's Instagram post saying, "Above all, I'm sorry I can not fix or eliminate your pain, I really wanted to stay now."
