A few hours before the news of their split is made public, Ariana Grande supported Pete Davidson to Saturday Night Live broadcast.
Many sources told PEOPLE that the singer "God Is a Woman" was present at the studio of 30 Rockefeller Center on Saturday night while her boyfriend was playing in New York City's iconic comedy sketch show.
Just one day later, PEOPLE confirmed that Grande and the comedian, 24, had called for abandonment.

The two men have decided to end their engagement over the weekend, said Sunday TMZ.
A representative from Grande did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment, and the Davidson representative made no comment.

Shortly before the announcement of the split by TMZ, Grande, 25, decided not to participate in an oncology activity close to the heart of its director, Scooter Braun.
In her speech Saturday at the Barbara Berlanti Heroes Gala of L. Cancer, Braun, 37, acknowledged the singer's absence before presenting Trevor Noah, the alternate artist for the event.
