Braun Scooter was one of the people who paid tribute to Mac Miller after the rapper was found dead from an apparent overdose.
The Talent Officer – representing Miller's ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande, as well as Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Dan + Shay, Tori Kelly and others – on Saturday released a moving tribute to Miller on Instagram.
"He was a good man with a big heart," he wrote in a photo of Miller. "We will miss him and he left too early. I am angry to say RIP buddy.
"Always a nice heart," added Braun, 37. "We will miss you and you have gone far too soon. Much too early. Stay in peace Mac.

Miller, whose real name is Malcolm McCormick, was pronounced dead Friday at 11:51 am at his studio studio in California, confirmed the medical department of the Los Angeles Medical Examiner in a statement to PEOPLE. He was 26 years old.
A cause of death remains to be determined, but one source told PEOPLE that Miller had had a cardiac arrest after appearing to be suffering from a drug overdose.
Big and Miller separated in May after two years of dating. She is currently engaged to Pete Davidson.
Twenty-five-year-old No Tears Left to Cry has not spoken of her ex's death, but some online trolls have blamed her for death on Instagram, and Grande has shut down her comments in response.

Throughout his life, Miller was very open about his struggles with drugs and sobriety. After his Macadelic tour in 2012 and the release of his first studio album Blue Slide ParkMiller admitted to having used drugs to cope with stress.

Although Miller has been trying to change his life in the past two years, he was arrested for DUI in May.

Miller also talked about the split during a conversation with Zane Lowe about Beats 1 on Apple Music in July, explaining that he and Grande had evolved since their separation.
