Last week, three armed men attacked a man who was walking with his 3-year-old daughter in broad daylight in the Bronx.
The men surrounded the victim on University Avenue, near West 183rd Street, University Heights, at approximately 14:10. September 17, police said.
One of them shot at him but missed it. Then, while the man was trying to escape with his daughter, the armed men grabbed him, abducted the child and one of them shot him in the leg, a video of the incident shows.
The suspects are then seen fleeing after the man has collapsed on the sidewalk.
The girl was not injured, the police said. His father was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in a stable state.
The surveillance images were released by the NYPD on Thursday.
