Armie Hammer and Jeffrey Dean Morgan diverge on Stan Lee's homage

Armie Hammer and Jeffrey Dean Morgan share the same superpower: with a simple gesture of the finger or thumb, they make embarrassing messages disappear on social media. As for the superpowers, it's pretty much nil.

Both actors seemed to have an ox online, but any trace of argument has moved into another dimension: all idiotic tweets, FB posts and Instagram photos are banned forever.

So, Hammer and Morgan are not exactly deadly enemies.

It all started, according to People, with "Lone Ranger" star Hammer, an exception to how some stars have paid homage to Stan Lee, Marvel's comic genius, who died earlier this week at the 39, age 95 years old. Hammer did not like at all that celebrities were showing selfies with the creator of Spider-Man, Iron Man, X-Men and countless other iconic superheroes.

He thought that celebrities distracted Lee's genius and were selfish. (Wait, is not it a selfish list above each celebrity's resume?)

"So touched by all the celebrities who publish photos of themselves with Stan Lee … not a better way to commemorate an absolute legend than to post a picture of yourself," tweeted Hammer .

The tweet has become invisible since.

Hammer, in a response to another Twitter user, explained his position with another tweet. "If Stan had an impact on your life (that is, in all our lives) with his work, post the work that touched you the most," he said. "Posting a selfie makes his death about you and how cool you felt to take a picture with him."

Hammer endorsed Mark Ruffalo's post on Lee, who presents a photo of Lee next to Hulk, the character Ruffalo played in three Avengers films.

"This one is not unanimous with Mark … happy?" Asked someone to Hammer.

Reply Hammer: "In fact, yes. This is an example that stood out and made me think that his post actually concerned Stan. "

Morgan was not so kind to Hammer when he called it "hat (expetive)", which, to our knowledge, is not part of the superhero's costume.

"It looks like you've found a way to use the other ways of mourning and their memories to draw attention to yourself," tweeted the star of "Walking Dead." "You look like a real hat (expletive)."

The tweet has since been – Boom! Pow! – disintegrates.

Many were on the same side as Morgan in this half-fight.

A quick analysis of Hammer's IMDb page shows that he was an actor in the 2014 TV movie "Stan Lee's Mighty 7" and in a Marvel video game.

Among the stars of Marvel Cinematic Universe, Lee Hugh has played in selfies like Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord) and Zoe. Saldana (Gamora).

Maybe Hammer should have avoided his anger for the homage paid to Lee by another star of the CMU. Gwyneth Paltrow, who plays Pepper Potts, criticized an Instagram post that appeared to advertise one of his Goop products.
