Army Chief Bipin Rawat on Saturday welcomed the government's decision to suspend negotiations with Pakistan and said it was time to return it to the Pakistani army and terrorists.
"Talks and terrorism can not go hand in hand," General Bipin Rawat said shortly after Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan called India's decision "arrogant and negative" .
"I think our government's policy has been very clear and concise.We have not hidden that negotiations and terrorism can not go hand in hand.Pakistan must reduce the threat of terrorism," said Rawat at ANI.
He said that India should take tough measures to avenge the barbarity of terrorists and the Pakistani army.
"Yes, it's time to return them to the same room … without resorting to similar barbarism, but I think the other party must feel the same pain," Rawat said.

Rawat also told the media today that the military is getting full cooperation from the government. "We are given freedom on how to conduct our operations and you can see its effects in Kashmir and in the northeast," said the army chief.
