Brian Johnson is set to conquer the Coffin Challenge this weekend at Six Flags St. Louis.

He is a daytime psychological counselor and a professional wrestler at night. He fights for wrestling groups in Missouri as "Kahyman", a so-called "master of the dark arts". Johnson … or Kahyman, depending on your level of wrestling, is also the only Missourian in the competition, since he is from Arnold.

"Now we start to be proud of the Midwest!" Johnson told Total Information on Friday morning. "I will NOT go through that."

So, how was a professional wrestler like him chosen from over 45,000 candidates?

"I've put up a good front with my character, who's a vampire / demon character," replied Johnson. "On top of that, Saturday is my birthday, so I'm going to spend my birthday in a coffin!"

Johnson and five other people will have to lie down in a narrow wooden casket for 30 hours, starting at 1 pm Saturday at 7 pm Sunday. The area of the head and neck will be able to look from the coffin, food (and sometimes maniacs of the Fright Fest) will be served. Breaks in the bathrooms and use of the cell phone will be limited.

Still, Johnson says that his experience as a psychological counselor will help him.

"You must understand that you are not underground, you will not be here forever," Johnson said. "The most important thing we will have to overcome is that we will not be able to move much, and all those who do not have patience … it will be extremely painful for them."

If Johnson and the others spend the entire 30 hour period, they will be raffled to win a grand prize of $ 300. Otherwise, each competitor receives a pair of passes from the Six Flags 2019 season, among other prizes.
