Arrow: 9 big questions after the premiere of season 7

[ad_1]

ArrowThe premiere of season 7 had Oliver Queen in jail, a new Green Arrow, and left a lot of questions. Of all the shows composing the Arrowverse, it would be fair to say that Arrow made the most radical changes to its status quo last year. In the sixth season of the season, Oliver Queen unveiled to the world his secret identity, the vigilante Green Arrow, and pleaded guilty to numerous charges against the federal government after a year long investigation by the FBI. He did this as part of an advocacy agreement aimed at obtaining immunity from prosecution under Star City's new anti-vigilance laws for the rest of the Arrow team and to obtain the FBI help to sue Ricardo Diaz – a crime official who had already blackmailed his take control of the Star City Police Department, District Attorney's Office and most members of his city council.

The victory was without conviction, ignoring even the sacrifices that Oliver Queen had to make to achieve it. While Diaz's network was closed and the corrupt officials working for him were arrested, Diaz himself was able to escape capture. Unfortunately, before losing his wealth and power, Diaz was able to get the job of The Longbow Hunters, a legendary team of assassins, who will join Diaz to destroy everything Oliver Queen has lost.

Five months later, ArrowThis first season of season 7 shows how Oliver started a new life in prison and how the rest of the Arrow and Star City teams are coping with the final of last year's explosive season. Still, we still have many questions about what has happened in the last five months. And where are we going from here?

9. When and how will Oliver come out of the slab?

It's only a matter of time before Oliver Queen gets out of jail. Although Stephen Amell has abolished a rumor that Oliver Queen would be released from prison after three episodes of Arrow season 7, we logically know that it must be free in time for the Other worlds crossover event with Super Girl and The flash. This raises the question: will the Arrow team hold a break in prison to allow its leader to go out, despite his wish to respect his contract with the FBI? Or will Ollie's plan to save time with good behavior work better than expected, allowing him a full pardon from a friendly politician who likes the style of Green Arrow and does not want to see him in jail? ?

8. How did Black Siren become the new Star City attorney?

Black Siren continues to claim to be the Laurel Lance of Earth 1 in the Arrow first season 7 and this prolonged bluff led her to become a Star City Attorney. There is a lot of harm to this scenario, ignoring even – logically – she should be the last person authorized to hold a position of power in the new Star City. Given the anti-vigilante nature of the municipal government as a result of Oliver Arrow's denunciation of Green Arrow, why would they name a former Queen's partner, also a known vigilante (the real Laurel Lance was revealed as being Black Canary after his death in Season 4) to an important post as District Attorney?

Apart from that, there is also the question of how Black Siren can possibly pose as a lawyer. The gift that Quentin Lance made of his daughter 's old textbooks in Season 6, although sympathetic, is far from enough to start an intensive course on obtaining a law degree. and even less to run the prosecutor's office of a big city. This does not help that Laurel was trained in family law rather than in criminal law and that she had very little experience as a prosecutor before her death.

7. What's Brick's Side-Hustle?

It is revealed that Danny "Brick" Brickman, Ben "Bronze Tiger" Turner and Derek Sampson had formed a sort of alliance after being imprisoned together and that they had had a "throng" to three. Turner was thrown into solitary confinement after failing to stab Oliver Queen in the cafeteria, leaving a man dead. Brick tried to recruit Oliver, but the ex-Flèche verte was resolutely indifferent to anything that could get him into trouble. This raises the question – what is that stirring?

6. How did Diaz escape from ARGUS after attacking Felicity?

Of Arrow first season of season 7, it is unclear how Diaz managed to escape capture by ARGUS after attacking Felicity in the ARGUS shelter where she lives with William. The last time we see Diaz in this episode, he holds a knife with Felicity and promises to hurt him. The next time we see Felicity, she visits Oliver in jail and tells him that she would have died if ARGUS had not arrived there. The entire fight scene and apparent escape from Diaz unfold all off camera, proving the old adage of Joel Hodgson that "anything can happen during the cut. "

The obvious answer is that Diaz always has someone at ARGUS, the FBI or another source who provides him with information. There were theories of fans during season 6 that Samandra Watson – the FBI agent with a madman for Oliver Queen – might have been to Diaz's job. Since she apparently has not progressed in Diaz's research after five months of research, it is quite possible that this theory is verified. Or is the culprit some apparently reformed lawyer?
