Feast your eyes on the thrilling displays of 'Elseworlds'
Tuesday morning, ArrowStephen Amell unveiled the highly anticipated crossover three-night crossover poster from this year – it's a weird picture. The promo shows Grant Gustin, who plays the Flash, dressed in Green Arrow and Amell in Scarlett Speedster – but curiously no Supergirl – and who carries the slogan "Destiny will be rewritten".
Check below:
This new poster only adds to the questions we had about "Elseworlds" after Amell had shared several intriguing photos behind the scenes, including: Tyler Hoechlin wearing a black Superman costume, Amell and Gustin disguised as bikers, and Amell in his Green Arrow Suit. Given the title "Elseworlds" and all these confusing images, there are clearly some playful multiverse tricks that unfold, which is quite in sync with what Arrow Showrunner Beth Schwartz recently spoke to EW about the tone of the crossover.
"This one does not feel as dark as last season," Schwartz said Sunday. "Of course, there were Nazis last season. I really think there is a lot more fun living in the crossover this year. "
As mentioned before, this year's crossover will include The flash, Arrow, and Super Girl, but no Legends of tomorrow. In addition, Green Arrow and Flash will meet Superman for the first time, but will also present Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Lois Lane (Grimm"Elizabeth Tulloch) in the Arrowverse. Jeremy Davies is about to play a Arkham Asylum doc, and Designated SurvivorLaMonica Garrett will appear as a monitor.
"Elseworlds" starts on Sunday, December 9 with The flash at 20 hours.; will continue on Monday, December 10 at 8 pm with Arrow; and ends the next night at 8 pm with Super Girl.
