Columbus, Ohio – Rutgers was completely beaten in the first half Saturday against the Ohio State.
But the worst fear imaginable Scarlet Knights occurred in the last game of halftime.
It was then that quarterback Art Sitkowski was sacked by Ohio State defensive end, Nick Bosa, with 22 seconds left in the second quarter.
As the last few seconds went down, Sitemowski had to be helped by his offensive linemen, who did not serve their crushed and injured quarterback in the first half.
Sitkowski appeared to be injured as he walked towards the sideline, then crashed onto the bench and was looked after by the Rutgers medical staff. It turned out that Rutgers' doctors were looking at the right-handed Sitkowski thrower arm.
The first-year quarter could be seen favoring his right arm, wincing in pain as a team doctor made sure the arm stayed in the same spot as he returned to the locker room at half-time.

Considering Rutgers was 67 yards from the end zone and had little chance of scoring, coach Chris Ash and offensive coordinator John McNulty were criticized for making their quarterback vulnerable to the outcome of the game. .
I like John McNulty. Good job as OC. But let a real recruit go down, losing 35-0, the offensive line being destroyed and after trying to no longer have a time to finish half-time, it was inexcusable. Totally inexcusable.

Rutgers Travel List shows 13 freshmen
Ohio State leads 35-0 at halftime. The Buckeyes dominated the trenches, returning Sitkowski twice and recording two quarters of a quarter in a hurry.
Sitkowski, on his second collegiate start, completed just 6 of 18 passes for 38 yards and one interception.
If he can not go in the second half, Gio Rescigno, the fifth-year-old, should play. Johnathan Lewis, who had a late action in the win of the Scarlet Knights season on Texas State, could also play.
