TV Asahi Corp. canceled a performance of the South Korean BTS pop group after a member was seen wearing a t-shirt representing a detonating atomic bomb and words marking the liberation of their nation from the Japanese colonial regime.

The broadcaster was to present the internationally known group of seven musicians on its live broadcast "Music Station" on the evening of November 9th.

TV Asahi posted a comment on its website stating, "Unfortunately, we made the decision not to present BTS on the show at the moment, based on our overall decision."
