Astronauts aboard the International Space Station had a frightening look at Hurricane Florence

Hurricane Florence continues its march towards the east coast of the United States today, and astronauts aboard the International Space Station have seen how the swirling whirlwind has grown. . The storm, which is currently a category 3, has forced a large number of people to evacuate and, given the images taken from space, it is easy to see why.
Florence is absolutely massive. It's so big that astronauts aboard the ISS have trouble capturing everything as part of a standard camera. Fortunately, the crew had some tools to take a wide angle view of the hurricane, and it's a crazy sight.
"Attention, America!" ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst, currently aboard the ISS, tweeted. "#HurricaneFlorence is so huge that we could only capture it with a wide-angle lens from the @Space_Station, 400 km above the eye. Get ready on the East Coast, it's a nightmare that will not disappoint you. "

If we can not tell from the picture above, the hurricane covers an incredible expanse of ocean, and all this power is about to be bombed in the United States. I mean, look at this picture:
The storm is expected to arrive on the east coast on Thursday and is expected to roll north for several days. The deadly storm surge, which will push ocean water into coastal communities, is at the center of everyone's concerns. The magnitude of the storm and its expected stamina will make life difficult for anyone who decides to try to get out (which is not a good idea).
Some recent reports indicate that waves as high as 83 feet have been spotted by the storm, and when the storm has landed, it will have wreaked havoc. In the comfort of the space station, astronauts can only watch in horror, but if you're on the way to the storm, you should do everything you can to get out or prepare for the worst.
