A shootout outside a Philadelphia shopping center left five injured, including one in critical condition on Wednesday afternoon.
Shots were fired from a moving vehicle shortly before 14:40. at the corner of Germantown Avenue and Wister Street, near the Freedom Square Mall, according to police.
Among the wounded, there was a 23-year-old man shot in his left hand, a 19-year-old man who was shot in his right foot, another 19-year-old man wounded in his right hand, a man of 20-year-old An old bullet in the right arm and a 20-year-old man were shot in the head, who was in critical condition, according to preliminary information released by the police. The other victims have been recorded in a stable state.
The detectives responded to several crime scenes. There was no immediate arrest or recovery of weapons, police said.
The shooting occurred in a commercial area of the Germantown section of the city.
The police band surrounded several bicycles on the sidewalk in front of a Dollar General store parking lot.
Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney recently announced that officials are developing a 100-day plan to combat the violence in the city.
