BATAVIA, Ill. – At least one person died and several others are injured after an accident involving four vehicles in Batavia on Friday morning.
It occurred around 4:50 am in the 500 block of North Randall Road.
Police said a broken down vehicle on the northbound Randall Road lane was hit by a truck heading north in the same lane. Police did not provide details on how the other two vehicles – a limousine and another car – were involved in the accident.
Randall Road will be completely closed from Mill Street to Fabyan Drive until the investigation is complete. Sarah Jindra, a WGN journalist, says Western is an alternative.
