ATLANTA – Rain and storms are moving in parts of Georgia – and others are scheduled for Thursday.

Parts of Gwinnett County were particularly affected by storms that moved into the region on Thursday evening.
] Audrey Washington of Channel 2 found a house where a tree fell and ripped the front part of the house
Fortunately, no one was injured at home on Garden Grove Drive but the tree caused a lot of damage.
The owner said in Washington that he believed that heavy rain and high winds were too important for the tree to withstand.
A few miles away, Washington spoke with another owner who made a tree in his ceiling. It arrived at Sydney Pond Circle in Lawrenceville.
He said that his family was home at that time, but fortunately no one was hurt.
"I see other people's house, but I did not think so, but yes, it's really bad," said owner Samuel Ofori.
Washington also found another home damaged by storms on Arnold Mill Road. It is here that the authorities stated that a crush had set off a fire.
Firefighters said that a father and a son had escaped unscathed.

More rain and possible storms could move in parts of the Atlanta subway later in the morning and afternoon.
"I want you to know that this can happen pretty much anytime," said Minton.
All Metro Atlanta and North Georgia are under a severe storm hazard isolated.
The main threat includes wind gusts of up to 60 mph, heavy rain, and frequent lightning.
