Here is the AP summary:
TUSCALOOSA, Alabama (AP) – Tua Tagovailoa has signed five touchdown passes and scored a goal to lead No. 1 Alabama to a 52-21 win over rival Auburn on Saturday.
Tagovailoa and The Crimson Tide (12-0, 8-0 Southeastern Conference, N ° 1 CFP) took over with an explosive third quarter when Heisman's trophy rider made three long touchdown passes. He is the first player in Alabama to have participated in six touchdowns in a match and to equal the school record with the five-pass score.
Now, Bama is heading to the SEC championship match against Georgia's No. 5 with a guaranteed spot for the playoffs.
While Alabama led Auburn (7-5, 3-5) 17-14 at halftime, Tagovailoa threw the tide into another SEC blast. He made 11 assists in 12 assists for 208 yards and four touchdowns in the second half, having only played one set in the fourth quarter.
Tagovailoa finished with 25 of 32 points for 324 yards and 26 yards, including a 7-yard touchdown and a 21-yard conversion on the third run.
"I thought Tua was in the game," said Alabama coach Nick Saban. "His leadership was really important to our attack, do not ask me why, but it does not seem like we had the right kind of energy in the first half."
The numbers in the second half included 46-yard touchdowns to Jerry Jeudy, 33 to Josh Jacobs, 40 to DeVonta Smith and 22 to Henry Ruggs III – all accurate shots.
The game was tight until Tagovailoa scored a long pass in three minutes in the third quarter. The first touched Jeudy on the left side and the second went to Jacobs, who shook a few defenders before heading to the end zone.
Auburn had used creative calls to keep it in three at 5:14 pm at halftime.
Wide receiver Anthony Schwartz ran for a 9-yard touchdown and his teammate Ryan Davis took a side and threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Malik Miller. That came with 4 minutes before the half after rookie Smoke Monday blocked a punt.
The Tigers also saw Shaun Shivers' 75-yard touchdown recalled with a penalty. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn was fined for unsportsmanlike conduct for protesting the call.
In the third quarter, Auburn was stopped by a false goal when substitute quarterback Malik Willis kicked the ball to kicker Anders Carlson. The three potential points briefly became more important after Jarrett Stidham's 52-yard forward to Darius Slayton raised the score to 31-21.
It was a fugue from there.
L & # 39; boarding
Auburn: In the semifinals, it was a game in which few players gave the Tigers a lot of chances. Stidham had 13 yards on 30 yards with a touchdown and an interception, including a few falls, and was under heavy pressure.
Alabama: Fought in the first half and dominated the second, as against the Citadel. Avenged lost 26 to 14 last season, which put Tide out of the SEC league game.
"I think the SEC is a very good league," said Saban. "For the team to remain undefeated is a feat, but it does not mean anything if we do not take advantage of the opportunity we have next week in the SEC league match."
BAMA SENIORS
Alabama's seniors tied the 2017 Tide class with a 53rd record NCAA win. The last group left with five defeats while the current seniors are 53-3 with maybe three games remaining.
TARGETING
Alabama back defender, Jared Mayden, will miss the first half of the SEC championship game after being designated to target in the third quarter. Auburn Davis was injured on the game, but finally got up and headed to the locker room.
"He shot a very good shot to the head," said Auburn coach Gus Malzahn. "They expect it to recover fully."
