Authorities locate the father of a 2-year-old child left alone on the porch of a resident of Spring
Officials from Montgomery County found Wednesday night the father of a 2-year-old boy abandoned on the porch of a Spring resident, a spokesman said.
MPs were summoned to block 30700 from Legends Ridge Drive in the spring around 8:20 pm after a landlord discovered a toddler at his door without an adult. The owner said she heard a knock on the door and when she went to meet, she saw the 2-year-old, said Lt. Scott Spencer of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

CCTV showed the woman who was coming home while she was carrying the boy and two bags. The incident lasted 23 seconds, according to the sheriff's office.

The woman ran away in a white passenger car and was not found.
Authorities have found the father with the help of local media and community, according to an article posted on Facebook by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
She is described as being in her twenties early in her thirties. She has long hair coming down under her waist and tattoos on her right arm.
The authorities were trying to identify the woman and the child. Child protection services have given custody to the 2-year-old, who appears to be in good health.
