Authorities Look for Miami Mail Order Center in Bomb Investigation: NPR

In less than a week, at least 10 potentially explosive devices have been sent to Democrats and critics of President Trump across the country, and at least one of them has passed through a major sorting center. American mail to Opa-locka, Florida, near Miami. , according to several reports.

Packages were also addressed to former President Barack Obama, former Vice President Joe Biden, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Representative Maxine Waters, D- Calif, and at the care of CNN, the former CIA director, John Brennan. One of them was also addressed to the actor Robert De Niro, severe critic of Trump.

All were sent in similar manila envelopes – with Wasserman Schultz listed as a sender, with his misspelled surname.

All parcels were intercepted or discovered; none of them exploded and no one was injured. Even then, the authorities treat them as "live devices" and not as "hoaxes," New York City Police Commissioner James O'Neill said Thursday.

An FBI investigation is still ongoing.
