"Avengers 4" will bring back another beloved hero from the ashes of "Infinity War" – BGR

Just a few days ago, an Avenger star told us that he would be back for two more Marvel films, including Avengers 4, despite being turned into ashes like many others after Thanos used his powerful weapon in War of infinity. Shortly after, we learned that a second actor would be resurrected for Avengers 4, thanks to someone who spies for the movie. And now we have more evidence that another beloved character from the Marvel cinematic universe will be revived in Avengers 4.

She is a little weird, funny and seemingly naive. But Mantis, played by French actress Pom Klementieff, is an incredibly powerful Guardian – and an Avenger. She died after the break, turning to ashes like everyone else who suffers the same fate. But Klementieff inadvertently revealed that she was coming back to life in an interview with Paper Magazine when we asked him something that was not related to the movie.

We already suspected that she is alive because she confirmed her appearance in Guardians 3, a film that takes place after the events of War of infinity, according to the official chronology of Marvel Cinematic Universe. In addition, thanks to this Disney scandal, you might be familiar, we suspected that all the Guardians who died in War of infinity will be brought back to life.

Asked during the interview about her thoughts on the "#MeToo movement and the industry's challenges in predatory behavior," the actress had this to say:

It's scary and it's beautiful too. I remember Brie Larsen and Danai Gurira on the set of The Avengers and she spoke to me about the [Time’s Up] letter to sign and I found it really great to bring all these women – and these men too – together to fight for a better world. Things must change so that it is great that we women are united and we are speaking now.

Klementieff is smart enough not to say the name of the Avengers 4 movie, or even to refer to the film as Avengers 4. But all those who have already seen War of infinity knows that Mantis has never met Captain Marvel (Brie Larsen) or Okoye (Danai Gurira) in the film. In fact, Captain Marvel is not even in the movie. Most Mantis scenes take place on ships or on Titan. Okoye, meanwhile, is busy in Wakanda. And the existence of Captain Marvel is not mocked until the end of the film in post-generic scenes.

The only way for Klementieff to share a set with Larsen and Gurira is to shoot scenes for Avengers 4. Think about it a little. We have Captain Marvel, Mantis and Okoye, who are doing something together.

The actress also said about playing Mantis in the The Avengers movies – again, ours:

It's so much fun. She is weird, she is special, she is in her own world and I can do fun things and I like to do it. Often, in movies like this, guys do fun things and girls have to play the role "stop having fun guys", which is good too, but it's nice to have a wife different. It's fun to play that. I like to be crazy. People sometimes come to me and tell me how much they like the character and feel a connection to the Mantis, because they are not so confident or feel good about themselves. For me, it's really touching and important that this character exists. I think Mantis [story] the arc inside the film is also very interesting because she does not know how powerful she is. She was raised in such a way that she was never told that she was strong and that she lived very softly and that meeting the Guardians opened a new world for her.

We are interested in seeing how powerful Mantis is and how the character evolves while doing his usual routines of "kicking, assuring".
