A newborn died after catching the herpes of a "death kiss", revealed his heartbroken mother.
Aliza Rose Friend was only eight days old when she died after developing neonatal herpes from the HSV-1 virus.
Her mother, Abigail, 19, says Aliza was healthy for the first 36 hours of her life before developing a fever, becoming lethargic and losing interest in food.
The newborn quickly deteriorated when the disease "eaten the lungs and brain," which left him struggling to breathe and suffer from seizures.
After the doctors announced to Miss Friend and her partner Tyler Hensley, 26, "the hope was real," Aliza would come out. She was declared brain dead on May 20th and the doctors stopped giving her life.
They then told Miss Friend, of Oakland, Maryland, that her daughter probably contracted the infection after being kissed by a person infected with the virus, which usually manifests as a cold sore.
In a Facebook message that collected over 500,000 responses, she wrote, "WASH YOUR HAND. DO NOT FUCK BABIES.

In the photo, before she was ill, her mother, Abigail Rose Friend, taught the doctors that her daughter had caught the infection after being kissed by a carrier or touched by contaminated hands and not washed. Because of its many visitors, it is difficult to know who transmitted the virus
"There is not a moment going on without me thinking of her. She's in my thoughts every day, said Miss Ami.
Although the doctors told Miss Friend that her daughter had fallen ill after a kiss or that she had been touched by contaminated, unwashed hands, there was no way of knowing who had transmitted the virus.
"Aliza has been in good health for a day and a half. It took six and a half days for the virus to completely destroy her body, "said Miss Friend.
"Some family members and a few close friends came to visit him when he was born. There is no way to know who gave it to him, because it's such a common virus.
It could have been anybody. It could have been a doctor as far as I know.
The doctors first said that there was a "real hope" for Aliza, but calmed her down to keep her comfortable. Miss Friend says that she vomited by seeing all the wires coming out of her baby
Aliza was a happy and healthy baby during the first day and a half of her life, but then quickly got worse.
"She started having a fever and did not want to get up from her nap or eat," said Miss Friend.
"She started to swell because of all the fluid that was accumulating in her lungs.
"His brain swelled so hard and his lungs were so swollen that we could see all the veins in his chest."
While struggling to save her life, the doctors calmed Aliza to help her stay comfortable.
But the combination of different drugs has caused seizures in the newborn.
"She had trouble breathing and they had to give her oxygen. She ended up using so many machines and tubes that we could not even say that she was a baby, "said Miss Friend.
"I was going to sit down a bit with her and I was looking at her on these machines and saw them breathing for her and I was vomiting."

The doctors claimed that the illness was so rare that it was virtually a "stroke of luck" and assured Miss Friend and Mr. Hensley that their little girl could be safe. ;get out.
"They told us on May 19 that they did not think she was going to heal, but that she could do it," said Miss Friend.
"Then I asked if there was hope or false hope and they said that there was real hope.
But the next day, Aliza was declared cerebral and her mother sang "You are my sun" while her baby was dead.
"The only way to describe that, is that it's absolutely overwhelming," said Miss Friend. "Aliza was plump and happy and cheeky.
On the picture held by his father Tyler Hensley while he was battling the virus, a quantity of fluid accumulated in the lungs of Aliza, Miss Friend, claimed that one could even see the veins in Her chest.
The doctors declared the brain death to Aliza on May 20th and interrupted the maintenance of her life while Miss Friend sang to her: "You are my sun".
Months after the death of her daughter, Miss Friend finally feels strong enough to encourage other parents not to let people kiss their baby.
In an article on Facebook, she writes, "I will never stop sharing the heartbreaking, heartbreaking and heartbreaking story of our sweet Aliza Rose.
"Someone touched her without washing her hands or kissing her face while carrying the virus." And no matter who can be a carrier and not show signs!
"It is fatal until the age of at least two weeks and parents can also pass it on to them! Help us save more babies' lives by sharing our story and avoiding kissing babies. & # 39;
Neonatal herpes only affects 1.65 babies per 100,000 in the United Kingdom, compared with 33 out of 100,000 in the United States.
"I did not even know that it was possible for babies to get it before it ever happened," said Miss Friend.
"The disease is so rare that as a new mother, we do not hear about it, and yet it's such a common virus." Nobody seems to know that babies can die.
"It attaches to the spine and causes a build-up of fluid around the lungs and brain. It destroys the essentials of the interior of the body until brain death.
"There is no cure. It's deadly for infants under the age of two weeks and, if they manage to survive, they need 24-hour care for the rest of their lives.
