The new banner will feature a mosaic of thousands of fan photos.

The Cleveland Cavaliers announced Friday their intention to replace the old LeBron James banner with a mosaic of fan photos.

The new banner will be unveiled next month and features the sandstone statue of the Guardian of Transportation at Hope Memorial Bridge in downtown Cleveland. It will measure 110 feet in height and 210 feet in width.

The city approved the design of the banner Friday, reports Cleveland.com. It will be held on the side of Sherwin Williams' global headquarters. A billboard of James stretching out his arms wearing a jersey that said "Cleveland" on his back, was hanging on the same wall.

Cavalry fans can be part of the new banner design, which will create a mosaic of thousands of images showing how people are celebrating The Land. The team takes pictures on their website until September 21st.

In addition to the mosaic, the banner will also feature the phrase "All For The Land", the "C" logo of the Cavaliers and "Cleveland" in the destination script of Destination Cleveland, used to promote tourism.

Just days after James announced his signature with the Los Angeles Lakers, his 10-story billboard was removed. It was built in 2014 when James announced his return to Cleveland from Miami.
