CHICAGO (CIRCA) – Former President Barack Obama has made a surprise visit to a food bank in Chicago.
Obama, wearing a Chicago White Sox hat, has helped Greater Chicago Food Depository volunteers prepare food for Thanksgiving.
The Chicago Food Bank has thanked Obama for his help by posting the image of Obama in action on Twitter.
At the end of the video, Obama told a girl, "I'm really proud of you," she replied enthusiastically.
Obama also thanked the volunteers on Twitter. He wrote, "Thanks to the Chicago Food Depository Team for everything you do and the volunteers who are doing great work and who have dropped me today."
