Another election cycle. Another round of American citizens can not swing their way.
This time, it 's entertainment legend Barbra Streisand, who told the New York Times she' s struggling with whether to uproot if Democrats do not win control of the House on Tuesday.
"I've been thinking about, do I want to move to Canada? I do not know, "she told the Times's Maggie Haberman. "I'm so saddened by this thing happening to our country. It's making me fat. I hear what [President Trump] said now, and pancakes are very fattening. "
Streisand, who lives in California, told the newspaper that she could not think of anything positive Trump has done and that the president "is trying to reverse reality."
"Truth has always worked for me," he said, "very painful for me," she added. "I only can do what I can do."
Streisand has been promoting her upcoming album, "Walls," which she said was angry at Trump.
Its first single, titled "Do not Lie to Me," does not mention Trump explicitly –

Celebrities and other prominent figures threatening to move to a foreign country before (and after) an election has become so common it is almost a part of the American political cycle. In 2016, many of these people were Democrats – including Lena Dunham, Snoop Dogg, Chelsea Handler, Bryan Cranston, and Neve Campbell, yes, Streisand – who vowed to leave the United States if Trump won, as the Guardian reported.
As the newspaper noted, however, all of them, including Streisand, have stayed there Trump's presidency – for now.
"Walls" will be released Friday.
