The Jets have just finished their worst defeat of the season, scoring just six points against the Dolphins in a rookie quarter-final. Sam Darnold only completed 54% of his throws, launched four interceptions and was sacked four times. New York lost three times in a row and is 3-6, just one game over the AFC East's ill-fated Bills.
The attack was not brilliant, but the defense managed to keep the Dolphins at 13 points and keep the Jets in the match until the end. But this is the post-match commentary from coach Todd Bowles about this D – "We still need to get some turnarounds" – which let former Bart's Jets linebacker see Red.
