The first image of Ruby Rose as a Batwoman in Arrowverse is here. This year's DC crossover on the CW will only be a three-night event including The flash, Arrow, and Super Girl. Although all members of the main cast are included, the Elseworlds crossover will have major guest stars. Superman's Tyler Hoechlin is one of them, but the crossover will be the first time the Arrowverse will go to Gotham. Instead of finding Bruce Wayne / Batman during their visit, they will meet instead Batwoman of Ruby Rose.

Since Arrowverse has revealed that Batwoman will join their universe, fans are eager to take a look at his character. Arrow The star Stephen Amell had previously teased his reaction to the idea of seeing Rose try the costume for the first time, but no official look had been released yet. Fortunately, this has now changed.

As reported by TVLineThe CW officially revealed the first image of Ruby Rose as a Batwoman today. The appearance and costume of Rose seem straight out of the comics. She has long scarlet hair, pale white skin and bright red lipstick that go with a killer costume. This is a great first look that hopefully will translate well when it will be moving.

Rose was chosen as Batwoman earlier this year in what turned out to be a very emotional part for her to land. Like Kane, Rose is an outspoken part of the LGBTQ community and sees it as a great opportunity to help spotlight the under-represented community on the screen. Many supported his casting, but there was also a strong enough reaction to force Rose to leave Twitter. She has always had the support of stars and Arrowverse producers, and she certainly fits the role.

Although Rose has only confirmed her membership in the three-night crossover, the CW already has more ambitious plans. It was revealed this summer that the network was developing a solo television series centered on Batwoman, a series in which Rose will star if she advances. Although the series has not yet been officially announced, it seems that it could be filmed next spring before being presented in the fall of 2019. These projects could however depend on the quality with which the Rose's Batwoman is received in the crossover. Without seeing it in action, Rose has made a good start with this first Batwoman image and hopefully will be part of Arrowverse for the foreseeable future.
