ATLANTA (AP) – A passenger from Ecuador was released from the remains when an intrepid beagle discovered a piggy head grilled in a luggage in the busiest airport in the world.
The agency said that pork and pork products from other continents are not allowed in the United States to prevent the introduction of foot-and-mouth disease, plague classical swine and other animal diseases.
CBP's Port Manager, Carey Davis, praised Hardy's work for "the tremendous expertise of our four-legged K-9 partners in protecting the United States."
