Osweiler, in his first season with the Dolphins, started four games with the Broncos in 2017 and 14 with the Texans in 2016. In seven seasons in the NFL, he completed 59.3% of his passes with 32 touchdowns and 27 interceptions . He was sacked 62 times.
Tannehill was the first to get injured in Week 3 but has played in all five Dolphins this season, completing 65.9 percent of his passes for 972 yards, eight touchdowns and five interceptions.
The Bears (3-1) come off an open day after quarterback Mitch Trubisky in a 48-10 win over the Buccaneers. Trubisky threw for 354 yards and six touchdowns.
Cornerback Marcus Cooper (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's Bears. Back Michael Burton, linebacker Kylie Fitts, offensive linemen Rashaad Coward and Bryan Witzmann, wide receiver Javon Wims and defensive lineman Nick Williams were in good health.
