The high school Bears will be short of elite as they try to slow down the Buccaneers defense on Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field.
Prince Amukamara and Marcus Cooper are both inactive, as expected, as they recover from hamstring injuries. Receiver Anthony Miller is out as he recovers from a dislocated left shoulder.
Linebackers Isaiah Irving and Kylie Fitts, offensive lineman Rashaad Coward and defensive lineman Nick Williams are in good health.
The Bears may decide to use Bryce Callahan to replace Amukamara in their base defense and use rookie Kevin Toliver on the outside for their nickel defense when Callahan plays in the slot.
Coach Matt Nagy said Josh Bellamy was among the receivers who could see more time as a slot receiver with Miller.
Rookie wide receiver Javon Wims is active for the first time this season, as is the safety of DeAndre Houston-Carson, who missed the first three games with a broken forearm.
Behind veteran veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick, who is expected to start Sunday against Jameis Winston, the Buccaneers are averaging 400.7 passing yards in the NFL. Winston returned this week after a three-game suspension for allegedly tying an Uber rider, but the Buccaneers should stay with Fitzpatrick to start Sunday's game.
Regarding the potential of the Bears attack, the Bucs lost two points. They placed Chris Conte on injured reserve with a knee injury on Tuesday, and Jordan Whitehead was inactive with shoulder and hamstring injuries.
