A recruiting side that goes with your turkey and your sauce this holiday.
Defensive lineman Tyrece Woods, who entered the Michigan recruiting class for 2019 in August, was removed from the program, he said Thursday night.
In a note posted on Twitter, the star of Belleville High School announced the opening of her recruiter position.
"I'd like to thank Coach Harbaugh, the rest of the Michigan team and all the fans for their hospitality and support over the past 4 months," Woods wrote.
"Right now, my family and I feel it's in my best interest to pull off my Michigan pledge to reopen my recruitment and weigh all my options."

The 6-foot-2, 255-pound defensive tackle is a three-star perspective based on the 247Sports composite, ranking it the top-ranked 112th-ranked striker in the 2019 class and the 59th best player in the state of Michigan. It is No. 1,685 in the set.
In addition to Michigan, Woods offers scholarships from at least a dozen other schools, including Cornell and Dartmouth Schools in Fresno State, Air Force, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan and Ivy League.

Woods was transferred from Martin Luther King High School from Detroit to Belleville in 2018 for his high season, where he was part of a football team that sank 12-1 with a loss to Chippewa Valley in semifinal of Division 1.
In August, Woods told MLive that he had "always bled corn and blue" as he grew up.
"Coach Brown and coach Mattison said they liked my versatility," Woods said. "I can use three techniques until the end and things like that."
Woods is the second player to leave Michigan this month, joining defensive tackle Denver Warren (2020). Michigan's 2019 recruiting class currently has 25 players and ranks first in the Big Ten, ninth in the country, according to 247Sports.
