The 2018 Comic-Con New York is officially launched and the cosplay community has become a force. Make sure you regularly check here to see everything we see, as we will continue to update this gallery throughout the weekend with pictures of the cosplayers we will meet.
It would not be a comic-con without a serious representation of comics. We have already seen a member of the Red Lantern Corps, Supergirl, Joker and several different versions of our favorite wall robot (even Lego Spider-Man). One of our personal favorites is the Venom puppy, which could be the scariest and cutest thing we have ever seen.
The anime characters also begin to appear. We've seen classic characters from old anime – such as Myotismon, the villainous dead king of Digimon Adventure in 1999 – and more modern anime characters being broadcast – such as Tokoyami's Fumikage, the first one. one of the members of Class 1- A in 2016, My Hero Academia.
Movie and video game characters are the smallest number of cosplays we have seen so far, but we have seen some good ones. We must praise the sun with Soltaire of Dark Souls, see Kylo Ren meet Darth Vader, marveled when Kill Bill's The Bride takes a threatening pose and tremble in front of the faces of The Predator and Jason Voorhees on Friday the 13th.
We are also expecting to see new trailers for NYCC films and TV shows, but many of them have been published before the convention. One of our favorites is the new Spider-Man trailer: Into the Spider-Verse, which reveals that Peter Parker, Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy will team up with SP // dr, Spider-Man Black and Spider-Ham . in the next animation film. The news of the possible new direction of The Walking Dead, the live-action versions of Mega Man and Lilo & Stitch, as well as the first images of John Wick 3 and the upcoming TV series Star Wars Mandalorian are also exciting.
Comic-Con 2018 in New York will run from October 4th to 7th.
