Representative Beto O'Rourke (D-Texas) said Monday he would not share the $ 38 million his campaign raised in the third quarter of the year with other Democratic candidates in the Senate.

A spokesperson for O'Rourke's campaign confirmed to The Hill that O'Rourke was not planning to share the funds.
"These elections have always focused on Texas and have borne fruit in each of the 254 counties we have visited in the last 18 months," said the spokesman.
O 'Rourke's comments come after the New York Times reported that the fundraising of the latter had created tension within the Democratic Party, with some saying O Rourke should share the funds. with candidates better placed to win.
Recent polls have shown that O & # Rourke was lagging behind his Republican opponent, Sen. Ted Cruz (R), nine percentage points ahead of next month's elections.
O'Rourke announced Friday that he has raised more than $ 38 million in the third quarter of the year, with more than 800,000 contributions.
