Bianna Golodryga joins "CBS This Morning" as co-host – Variety

CBS News said it added Bianna Golodryga to its morning host list of "CBS This Morning", expanding its list of anchors in the competitive field of the morning news.

The anchor comes to the fore while the morning program, though performing better for CBS than many of its predecessors, continues to lag behind its major rivals: " Today "from NBC and ABC's" Good Morning America "for the week ending September 30th. Golodryga has been working as a reporter and alternate co-host at CBS since August 2017. She began her duties today and will be based in New York. While CBS News was seeking to replace Charlie Rose, who had been ousted last year after being accused of sexual harassment, Golodryga was cited as a potential candidate.
