Big Buddy celebrates student achievements after school

RED BATON, The (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) – Big Buddy will draw attention to the need to multiply extracurricular programs by hosting an "Enlightenment After School" event on Thursday.

On October 25, from 3:30 to 6:30 pm, the Mentoring and Enrichment Program Organization will join the community to participate in the National Lights on Afterschool initiative at 1415 Main Street. in Baton Rouge.

Families are invited to participate in STEM-focused activities that will be presented by businesses and industries in the region.

Organized by the Afterschool Alliance, Lights on Afterschool is celebrated every year since 2000.
