Recognized for postponing deadlines, Elon Musk has abruptly replaced at least seven SpaceX senior executives (SPACE), with the mandate to launch his Starlink satellites by the middle of next year.
It competes with OneWeb and Telesat Canada to be the first to market a new satellite Internet service.
"It would be like rebuilding the Internet in space," Musk told an audience in 2015 when he unveiled Starlink. "The goal would be that the majority of long-distance Internet traffic goes through this network."
