Bill Belichick has left his mark on the 2018 World Series.
As the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers kick off this year's edition of the Fall Classic, it was the Patriots coach who welcomed viewers in during Fox Sports' opening video. Bill Belichick had the privilege of voicing the network in the World Series, which kicked off on Tuesday night.
"How do you make history? You win," Belichick says in the voiceover. "Championships. Not once, not twice, you win again and again… Everything you do, everyday is about winning. There are few organizations in history that have created a tradition of winning. experienced success in every major sport.

"It was awesome," Belichick said during his Tuesday conference call when asked about narrating the opening to the World Series. "I've been honored to be part of the world, with these two franchises. that look forward to watching some of it. "
Belichick has been spotted at a few Red Sox games this season and has a big supporter of this 2018 squad. The head coach was most notably at Boston's walk off in early August to sweep New York in a four game series. Belichick watched on, while sporting a Red Sox hat, the Sox won in thrilling fashion, scoring three runs in the bottom of the world and Andrew Benintendi caped things off with a walk-off in the bottom of the tenth.
Now, they'll be watching as they try to claim their fourth World Series title since 2004. And the head coach seems to be impressed with the American Champions League as they commented last week on advancing to the World Series that they can do it all.
"I do not think they need any," the head coach said when asked if he had any words of encouragement for the Red Sox heading into the World Series last Friday. "Whatever they need to do, they can do, hit, pitch, run, play defense, take pitches.
