Bill Cosby spent his first night in a prison in suburban Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Cosby was immediately detained on Tuesday after a Montgomery County judge delivered sentence of imprisonment of three to ten years in a state prison for the 2004 sexual assault against Andrea Constand.

He will be permanently housed at SCI Phoenix Prison in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections Web site.

The SCI Phoenix plant is practically new and opens in July. Cosby spent the night in one of the 3,830 prison beds of 164 acres at maximum security.

Although this is unlikely due to Cosby's age and legal blindness, he could attend one of the professional training courses offered by the prison, ranging from the barber school to maintenance of carpentry and restoration.

TMZ speculated on what could be Cosby's work in prison, including "maintenance (inside or outside), cooking, assistance to disabled prisoners or work in garment factories ".

He received a detainee number while entering prison: NN7687. Cosby also took a new mugshot dressed in prison blues.

The 81-year-old will owe $ 43,611.83 in court fees, according to the court documents, to which he was sentenced to pay as part of his sentence.

He must also surrender his passport and pay a monthly monitoring fee in accordance with court documents.

A member of Cosby's trial attorney's team said that Constand, the actor's main accuser, had told him that she was satisfied with his sentence.

Montgomery County District Attorney General Kristen Feden said Wednesday on NBC's "Today" that Constand had given her strength as she was going through Cosby's difficult pursuit process.

Feden says that "Constand's courage and strength were enough to say: let's continue." "

Feden also said that while looking at Cosby during the proceedings, she did not even know that it was clear to him that it was judgment day.

In a statement issued after the conviction, Cosby's wife, Camille, alleged that a phone recording played at trial was tampered with.

In ABC's "Good Morning America" newspaper, Feden co-prosecutor Stewart Ryan called the incident "the latest attempt to prepare a call".
