Bill Daily, actor of "I dream of Jeannie", died at 91, his family says

Bill Daily, known for his comedies on classic sitcoms "I Dream of Jeannie" and "The Bob Newhart Show," died Tuesday in Santa Fe, northern Ireland, said his family. He was 91 years old.

Daily dies of natural causes, said his son, J. Patrick Daily at the Hollywood Reporter.

The actor played the role of Major Roger Healey, the comedic accomplice of Larry Hagman's Air Force Captain Anthony Nelson, during the five years of NBC's "I Dream of Jeannie". Hagman died in 2012 at the age of 81.

From 1972 to 1978, Bob Newhart's American newspaper CBS, Howard Borden, divorced from the New York airline, played for six seasons.

Her other television credits include roles on "Alf", "Bewitched", "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", "Love American Style", "Aloha, Paradise" and "Starting from Scratch".

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Daily fought dyslexia and had to memorize all its lines.

After the television series Daily, "Small & Frye", which lasted only three months in the 1980s, the long-time resident of Albuquerque became director of the New Mexico Film Commission.

Daily was born in Des Moines, Iowa, grew up in Chicago and started his career as an actor, according to Variety.

"He loved all the sunsets, he loved every meal – he just decided to be happy with everything," his son told the chain.
