Patrice Bergeron is the last Boston Bruins player to end up on the reserve after suffering an upper-body injury during the loss to the Dallas Stars last Friday, which will keep him for at least a month.
Bergeron's injury was caused by a shot from the front of the Stars, Radek Faksa. The Bruins announced the new Tuesday afternoon, claiming that Bergeron had suffered "an injury to the rib and a sternoclavicular" and that he would be reevaluated in four weeks.

Bergeron, 33, came back to finish the game against the Stars, but he obviously suffered a lot. He did not travel with the Arizona team after the match, but returned home to Boston for further evaluation.
Losing Bergeron is a blow for Boston. the winner of four Selke selections centers his first triumph – undeniably one of the best in the league – and is one of the league's best two-way strikers. In 19 games this season, Bergeron's 26 points (nine goals and 17 assists) reached a team-high and earned him the seventh-place scoring in the NHL.
His absence will be particularly detrimental considering the magnitude of the Bruins before his injury, especially on the defensive side. Boston captain and defender Zdeno Chara is also put away for about four to six weeks with a knee injury, while other defenders like Brandon Carlo, Charlie McAvoy, John Moore, Kevan Miller and Urho Vaakanainen are all currently struggling with injuries.
The Bruins also struggled to find a lot of offensive help behind their top trio of the final trio of Bergeron, Brad Marchand and David Pastrnak. These three players have combined for 32 of the Bruins' 58 goals (55%) this season.
The Bruins entered the season with high expectations and hoped to stay among the best in a full – power Atlantic division, but their health problems have been a major concern so far. They currently rank fifth in the Atlantic with 25 points in the first quarter.
