Boban Marjanovic dived without even jumping, then broke the rim – and the NBA Twitter

You will not find a more caricatural NBA player than Boban Marjanovic, an adorable 7 foot 3 inch giant. The center of the Los Angeles Clippers is always good for a handful of highlights when he enters the match, and Wednesday night was no exception. In a 107-98 loss to the Denver Nuggets in the opening match of both teams, Marjanovic did something that made us rub our eyes and scratch our heads.

The tall man took the lane, received a pass from Patrick Beverley and threw a dunk in one hand. What is the problem, ask yourself? He did not even jump off the ground.

Now, look, you can say that his feet were off when he dipped, but you can not call it a jump. It's a gallop at best. The most absurd part of the video is maybe when it is lying flat after the dunk and always has a total grip on the rim.

As if that was not enough, another of his dunks later in the game caused a delay because he literally broke the rim and had to fix it.

There's something to be thrilled about this season – LeBron, Jimmy Butler, the Celtics – but Boban may be at the top of the list.
