STRAWBERRY TANK – Search and Rescue Teams found the body of a missing man this week at Strawberry Reservoir.
Benjamin Magalis, 24, from Goodhue, Minnesota, was found around 8 pm near Chicken Creek West, according to Wasatch County Sheriff's Deputy Chief Jared Rigby. It seems like he drowned, said Rigby. A 26-year-old woman who was with Magalis was not found.
The teams have searched the tank since Friday to find the couple, missing since Thursday night when the woman's father called 911, announcing that she was supposed to be back on Tuesday after camping at the tank.
Search and Rescue Teams found objects belonging to the couple on Friday and Saturday, including an overturned canoe. Their dog was found alive on the shore of the tank on Friday.
Rigby said the crews would continue to search for the woman starting Sunday at 7 am
