BOSTON (AP) – The winners of this year's Nobel Prize winners are researchers who have discovered that voodoo could prevent retaliation against a violent boss and a doctor who has shown how easy it is to have a colonoscopy.
The awards for strange and scientific discoveries were presented Thursday by real Nobel laureates at a ceremony at Harvard University.
The event included a traditional air raid by paper plane and the world premiere of a mini-opera on the heart made by cardiologists from Harvard Medical School.
The winners also received a cash prize of 10,000 trillion Zimbabwean dollars worthless.
Other winners include a British archeology lecturer who understood that eating human flesh was not very nutritious and that an Australian team found that advanced teaching manuals could not disturb people.
